Effluent Treatment

Clear DayThe innumerable enteric diseases that threaten us today such as; Cryptospordiosis, Giardiasis, Salmonellosis, Hepatitis A, Shigellosis, are transmitted through human excrement. Historically, major epidemics of cholera and typhoid fever were primarily caused by improper disposal of wastewater. However, proper sanitary disposal of human waste is a public health necessity.

In normal electrochloirnation system is to install the following effluent treatment or waste water treatment area:

  • Disinfections: Use as a wastewater treatment plant chlorinator to inactivate microbes for compliance with waste discharge requirements of effluent.
  • Return Activated Sludge: Use chlorine from the chlorine generator to control filimentous bacteria in the return activated sludge.
  • Odor Control: Chlorinator system is small enough to use at lift stations to control odors in raw sewage. Can also be used to control odors in large sewage collection systems.
  • Cooling Water: Use as a recycled water chlorinator to control the growth and development of biological slimes in plant's cooling water system.
  • Portable Chlorinator: The chlorine generator is a portable chlorinator that is easily transportable in the back of a pickup. Use the portable chlorinator as an emergency chlorinator when other chlorination systems break down, control odors at sewage collection manholes and lift stations, and other uses.
  • Algae Control: Use the chlorine generator to control the algae growth in the lagoon system.
